D3ads
I'm looking for the font used in the intro sequence of 'Se7en', it looks something like this: There's two fonts overlayed on that screen capture though, basically the 'N' and the 'E' are part of this font, I don't have a clue what it's called so I was wondering if anyone else knows. A friend of mine wants this for a logo he needs to design. Like I said it's a long shot but maybe someone here will know!
Thrik
Type used for branding, film, television, games, etc, is typically produced specifically for that purpose by a typographer or logo designer. These may often be based on existing fonts, but generally aren't literally just an existing font used as is. The best you can probably hope for is a font someone's created based upon the brand (eg: Spiderman font, PlayStation font, etc), or to find a similar font yourself that can be edited with little trouble. It looks like a very basic sans-serif font so that shouldn't be very difficult. You may find this amazing tool useful for finding the font the Se7en type was based on. The more letters you have the better, but it might be enough. Be sure to bookmark this as it's generally useful. You will be surprised about how accurate it can be if you have plenty of characters to work with. Oh, and you have done the obvious, right? D3ads
Yes, I did a Google search, only found the cover logo font. Ooooh, excellent link there *bookmarks*. Don't think I'm any closer to finding out what it is though, perhaps it's a case of it being exclusive to the film only, cheers for the help anyhow
Section_Ei8ht
looks to me like just a sans serif font with some streak filters added to it in post. I highly doubt they made a full fledged font for it. Best you're probably going to find is if someone made an imitation font.
