More about us at: http://www.aconygames.com QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER Position Summary The QA Manager manages and coordinates testers and testing processes. He/She is responsible for planning, conducting and assessing product tests as well as working on process improvement. Position Responsibilities Primary Responsibilities: - Train and manage external test teams - Communicate with QA outsourcing studios and beta testers - Integrate external feedback and test reports in the internal production process - Identify and isolate issues with pre-release software - Report and track issues, verify fixes - Conduct regression and stress testing - Prepare/execute test scripts - Evaluate test coverage - Work with other testers, lead testers, engineers and manager - Ensure work is completed in accordance with project deadlines - Provide quality feedback, including evaluations of content and suggestions for improvement - Verify and proofread product manual/documentation - Undertake research, including competitive analysis Secondary Responsibilities: - Determine appropriate test strategies - Verify specified product goals - Identify risks to assigned area - Provide input to test schedule - Identify improvements in test process Position Qualifications/Requirements - 3+ years working experience in a games industry related leadership, supervisory or management role - Knowledge of accepted software and console game Quality Assurance principles, methodologies and best practices (especially PC and Xbox360) - Ability to interpret, analyse and evaluate a variety of technical instructions and documents - Ability to define problems, recommend solutions, and implement those solutions in a resourceful manner - Strong time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines - Fluency in English Technical Requirements - Good computer skills (MS Office, Outlook) - Use of bug reporting software Soft-Skill Requirements - Effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills - Excellent organisational and people management skills - Ability to work as a team player and interact with other department personnel - Familiarity with all phases of the software product development cycle - Advanced software/hardware knowledge Bonus - Fluency in German Please send your resume and CV to jobs@aconygames.com Quote
