Deathy Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 looks damn fine for hl1 engine I agree. Quote
TermInator525 Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 de_halla texture set. Nice looking but a little bit too blocky. If you could change some edges (Rounding it a little) it will be lock much better... Models are from de_pacific? (or was it cs_?) If it possible, look for a custom fire, fixed on the x-axis. Quote
ifO Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 Basic generic map using none of your own content. It's okay, but pretty uninspired compared to the many gems of HL1 maps out there, including Halla itself. Hate to be bitch but its easy to forget there were so many great custom maps made for CS: http://lanmaniax.com/pimpage_old.htm#recommended Quote
Sentura Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 that map is so square (pun intended) looks good, but even with hl1 you could have made an effort with more rounded edges. it looks a bit like quake 2 as is (add a more brown/grey tone and you'd hit it on the spot). also some of the buildings seem incredibly bland, as if there were no damage, no decals no nothing applied to them. ultranew_b Posted December 9, 2007 Report Posted December 9, 2007 looks good ! that skybox wrecks it tho, imo Quote
Minos Posted December 10, 2007 Report Posted December 10, 2007 The atmosphere is damn nice, we had some cool playtest sessions back then so I guess the layout is pretty good. I agree that you could have rounded up a few edges, we don't care about wpolys anymore Quote
