Mazy
Got it today and been playing the entire evening and it just went by in no time. It might be linear and the jungle stuff might not be up to Crysis' par, but damn its in just having so much fun with this. Shooting is pretty awesome (Even though I didn't like it that much in the demo, it gets a lot better the more you play it), and the platform'ish stuff feels very linear, yet they put in enough twists and big cinematic moments to make it feel like a movie. Good stuff. Plus I actually kinda like the characters, Drake isn't as generic and annoying as I had feared. Best exclusive PS3 game so far, no question (Although that doesn't say a lot ;D) Just hope it isn't too short D:

Sentura
i am impressed with this game honestly. sure it's no crysis in looks, but the story, the overall combat versus puzzle gameplay is really awesome. sure the game is linear, but so was half life and half life 2 - look where that got them. i am only worried about 2 things... that it will be too short and that they will make a sequel. a game like this deserves not to have sequel. Erratic
a game like this deserves not to have sequel. Haven't played Drakes but, how so? Sounds like you enjoyed it? Unless you're referring to something story related.
Sentura
i feel like it's one of those games that has an excellent story and makes a decent (albeit not great) sale. i haven't played it to the end, but it would be sad to see if they just cut up the story into 2 parts or made a cliffhanger story for a sequel, just to milk the franchise for monae. maybe i am being too conservative about this, but when i think games, i think art. it would feel as if they'd spoil a masterpiece with a bucket of paint if they made a sequel. so uhm, yeah, story related in short
Mazy
Just finished it, the last level was kinda frustrating but apart from that I totally loved it. Definitely one of the best games this year, even if it isn't doing anything especially new~
Taylor
Well it's still on the first page... I finished this today. It’s an awesome game, and I’m definitely going to play through it again. The action sequences, cinematic sequences and characters are all reminiscent of cheesy but harmless action films and I loved every minute of it. It also works well when it dips into horror, which was rather surprising. I really like Drake as a character, though I hoped he would display his cowardice more (the demo was a bit misleading to his persona). Combat was usually solid and exciting all the way through, until the last 3 levels or so when they try and ramp up the difficulty – but because it’s mechanically rather simple this really means making things more frustrating* with a lot of random death. The only other down point for me was when you solved puzzles, or did some tricky traversal, to get to a secret area. And you’ll be consulting Drakes diary or talking to characters about this secret area - and then two minutes after exploring run into an entire armada of grunts who’ve got in through some convenient back door. Obviously this is so you have something to shoot at and they only support humanoid enemies. I hope this is something they develop on for the next game** as it kind of took the fun out of the exploration sections. But yeah, two pretty minor flaws. Like Mazy said it's one of the best games this year. * The second fight in the church with all the snipers and grenade launcher enemies! ** I’m more than certain there will be a sequel to this in the works, there’s a colon in the title! But there's not a cliffhanger ending or anything. It's self contained.
Pericolos0
I bought this game for my brother and have been playing it myself for quite a bit, i'm about halfway in atm. The storytelling and voice acting is really great, some of the best ingame cutscenes i have ever seen. The combat gameplay is really fun in the beginning but it gets a bit boring in the end. Its pretty much exactly thesame as in mass effect and gears of war, excapt you have less abilities and weapons as in mass effect, but its still alot more fun than the gow combat tho. Art wise they did some great things in this game aswel, it seems like all the environments are made out of just a few tiling textures, and they textures all the props with alpha maps for blending all the textures, it looks great! Also loving all the moving vegetation and shadows everywhere. It's no crysis but i like the visuals in this game alot more, alot of love was put in these environments . One of teh best games on the current generation of consoles so far!

Taylor
Oh, and the unlocked "Next-gen" fitler is awesome, tints everything brown and turns up the bloom to maximum.
