Belgarion Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 After seeing that "Into Cerberon" mod and finding out they're using the D3 engine I asked them why they didn't use Q4. Basically, Q4 wasn't out yet when they started. Apparently there has been talk of moving though, so I'm interested in knowing what people have and what's installed Quote
Pericolos0 Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 You should go with what you think is the most fun to work with, not what everyone has installed. Quote
Rick_D Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 should have included an option for 'own neither' Quote
m8nkey Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Apparently there has been talk of moving though, so I'm interested in knowing what people have and what's installed Not to my knowledge, pretty sure the IC team are focusing on completing development for Doom3 before considering anything else. I bought Doom3 off steam primarily to checkout this mod. I don't know what the technical differences are in the tech4 engine between Quake4 and Doom3 but Doom3 seams to fit a descent mod nicely. Furyo Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Own neither, played Doom III (beat it) Quote
D3ads Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Own both, only Doom 3 is installed. Quote
AgentUp Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 I own both, have quake 4 installed originally with the plan of playing Multiplayer, but hardly anyone is playing, at least from the in game server list. Which is a shame cause when I was at Quakecon this year, people were having alot of fun playing Q4 in tournaments. Quote
