Tequila Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 Haha, you guys are harsh but fair.
FrieChamp Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 You are ripping this guy apart, but hell, when I saw that pic by Posty I burst into laughter as well
Fullauto Posted September 24, 2004 Report Posted September 24, 2004 The internet is not a gentle creature. The lads are saying the truth: You're going to have to try a lot harder if you want people's cooperation.
-Stratesiz- Posted September 25, 2004 Report Posted September 25, 2004 Never post something as quick, unpolished and unimpressive as that. It will just ruin your reputation, thus forcing all developers to run away laughing. It will take A LOT MORE to impress people here than in the Specialists forums.
st0lve Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 It will take A LOT MORE to impress people here than in the Specialists forums.plz, CK is making an new logo, THIS MUST BE VERY GOOOO!111 BLADE, what do you do for the mod? Idea guy? D:
Section_Ei8ht Posted September 30, 2004 Report Posted September 30, 2004 This has got to be the first time I have literally rolled on the floor laughing.
Kedhrin Posted October 9, 2004 Report Posted October 9, 2004 lol...you guys are wrong.... but right at the same time... if you are going to be the lead of a mod team, you really got to either be very strong in art skills, or programming skills. Most mod teams where the leader "has an idea" and has no idea about the art or programming side of things, usually turn up flap jack crap, no one will pay attention to your mod, and most likeley, you'll recruit complete newbies, who have no artistic talent at all, and your mod will look like a joke, and you'll never be able to use it on your resume or portfolio. If you have an idea that would be great, contact an awesome artist, see if he likes the idea, then maybe kick it off from there with him being co-leader, but if you can't find someone with awesome art talent, don't even bother. most people, especially programmers, will only join a mod team if they see awesome artwork being done for it (and i hate to say this, but a few weapon models won't make the cut) also, no one wants to play another modern-warfare game, make something fun, like goatse hunter, or something....
