Taylor Posted December 7, 2007 Report Posted December 7, 2007 I don't quite understand where this is going, but to get on the bandwagon ahead of time: Are we for or against threats and deceit? Quote

WitchKing Posted December 30, 2007 Report Posted December 30, 2007 Well, I think some people commenting here are wrong - the review scores may definitely vary depending on the publisher. As the makers of the games, we like to think that they are merely rated on their quality, but there is also the business side of things to consider. A publisher spending big advertising money on a site is certainly more likely to receive favourable reviews for their games on that site. Quote

Sa74n Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 played the demo too. was quite buggy for me, all shadows were rendered on top of the geometry. and i thought the demo was a bit too short. but still it looked promising. and you just gotta love the slightly blurry cityscape when on top of the building. now please announce the next hitman title soon! Zacker Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 So it might actually break even afterall... Quote
Thrik Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 I think the concept and marketing alone could probably get the game its sales. Even after knowing the gameplay was meant to be a bit mediocre, I saw huge magazine spreads for it and it just made me want to play it regardless. The characters (both how they look and their backstory) and plot is really compelling. Quote
WitchKing Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 Yeah, I'll take whatever good news I can get You can stop worrying now - million-seller is good news indeed! Fuck reviews, cash is king. Quote
