KIIIA Posted April 2, 2008 Report Posted April 2, 2008 Basicaly what the other said. Good sense of consistent and fitting color palettes! I would be interested in a quick "History" of this pic and some words about the techniques you used. Quote
Pericolos0 Posted April 6, 2008 Author Report Posted April 6, 2008 thanks for the comments everyone. I really need to find more time to paint, something always comes in between when i feel like painting ;o. Heres something i did today, trying to figure out how i can quickly sketch mechanical stuff: I sketched this almost entirely with just hard brushes and no pressure sensitivity on, and just 4 values. Then added in more gradients and values afterwards to get a more realistic feel to the lighting Quote
e-freak Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 Looks really, really nice man. I would rescale that leg a little but the artstyle you've taken there looks really appealing! Quote
Sentura Posted April 6, 2008 Report Posted April 6, 2008 would you consider making a video of how you paint? i'd like to view your techniques a bit closer as i love the general impressionistic/semi realistic art style. Quote
