p2xelgen Posted November 22, 2007 Report Posted November 22, 2007 Thanks for the comments everyone =). Here's another quick one from today, tried something with more weather after claymans suggestion: I think I should try to use some more color though, my color schemes are kinda cheap at the moment. Looks great, I wish I ws skilled... Quote
Pericolos0 Posted November 22, 2007 Author Report Posted November 22, 2007 Thanks alot for the commenst everyone i agree, keep the coloring. they look well saturated honestly, and go greatly with the images themselves. comment on the last one: too much reflectivity on the floor; it looks as if it's made of glass or is soaked in water. also, could you post the number of hours/minutes/seconds you put into each image? I didn't mean I did't like the color stauration, I just think I should try to get some more subtle color variations in them . The floor is supposed to be soaked because of the rain, I should maybe have made it more obvious its raining though. They each took about 1 hour. The space station one maybe a little longer, as i worked on that one on and off over a few days. I'll make a new one tomorrow, and hopefully I can keep this pace up , really enjoying painting these. Jenn0_Bing Posted November 23, 2007 Report Posted November 23, 2007 Looks awesome, what resolution do you paint these at? Quote
Pericolos0 Posted November 27, 2007 Author Report Posted November 27, 2007 Looks awesome, what resolution do you paint these at? thanks, pretty high usually (4000x3000 or so), even though it doesn't really matter as i never go into detail. Here's a quick one from today! Quote
Minos Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Nice, love the highlights. Maybe you could add something tn the foreground, to give it even more depth. Quote
Sentura Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 you mind uploading the whole pack somewhere in desktop resolution? ;D (1280x1024/1200x800 preferred) Quote
Sa74n Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 nice one but it lost a lot of the confidence because you put too much detail in the guys on the bridge. just make them rough and quick. no need to go into pixel detail there. Quote
Skjalg Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 I'd like the last orange one at 1920 x 1200 please per :] Quote
clayman Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 i love how the shapes speaks in the image good work! Quote
