Here's a portrait I drew of a character from Clive Barker's Arabat. His name's John Mischief, he has 7 brothers growing out of antlers on his head. It was originally a pencil drawing I traced in flash.

the extra faces are kind of random but the main head is quiet cool and you should try to colorize it

yeah definitely put some effort into coloring/shading it. If you don't want to you could always look on DeviantArt for a good artist. Find one with a coloring style you like and ask him to color your art. People do it all the time so don't worry about it being weird. In fact, a lot of people work together. One makes the line-art and the other colors it.
