Belgarion Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 actually it isn't, but the topic sounds better that way. A familiar location for me. I've taken a few good photos there. Definitely becoming one of my favorites during the winter. I know some of the shots are pretty dirty, but to be honest, I don't care. In fact I kind of like it because it looks like I was shooting film. :edit: WHOOPS! Forgot one. Quote

Blunkka Posted November 9, 2007 Report Posted November 9, 2007 Really nice ones there. May I ask what lens you used for the macro stuff? Quote
Belgarion Posted November 9, 2007 Author Report Posted November 9, 2007 Really nice ones there. May I ask what lens you used for the macro stuff? You may. I'm using a retro-fitted Sigma 50mm 2.8 macro FD lens. Yes, FD. I bought it thinking it was the newer EOS version. Disappointed as I was, I decided to MAKE it fit my 20D. So I got an old FD extension tube, took the male connection off and screwed it onto a camera cap. I carved out the inside and now it works! It has a TERRIBLE flare problem, but usually macro doesn't have to deal with that anyway, and it's REALLY sharp. Quote
JAL Posted November 10, 2007 Report Posted November 10, 2007 that last picture is EPIC. Very nice. Quote
Ginger Lord Posted November 12, 2007 Report Posted November 12, 2007 Looks good, but need to clean your sensor, the dust is distracting in all the photos. Quote
Belgarion Posted November 12, 2007 Author Report Posted November 12, 2007 Yeah, I know. I think it's actually the lens though, but I'm going to clean both just to be sure. Quote
