So I haven't seen the movie or watched the trailer but...holy shit is that supposed to be Flushing Meadows park? If so that is fucking awesome. Do they give an explanation in the movie why it looks like that? Was there a scene there or something?

That's like 10 minutes from my house :D Except it looks more like this:
