Quakis Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 Does this thing work with console games too? That's be great to see the gamecube RE's mansion in full 3D. Quote
JohnC Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 I think so. I read (somewhere? In that link Buddy gave I think...) that someone ran through Delfino Plaza from Super Mario Sunshine through an emulator. Quote

Not the gamecube version as far as I'm aware. I remember a video that took you on a "tour" of the mansion in first person and it was all 3D. Only the first three games used pre-rendered shots if I remember right. Quote
ReNo Posted November 2, 2007 Report Posted November 2, 2007 The Resident Evil remake and Resident Evil Zero were both pre-rendered, IIRC. The devs could easily have made a fly through of course, but all the cameras were static. They were animated backgrounds though, which made it seem a lot less obvious. Lightning flashes, rain effects, curtains flapping around, the shake of the train carriages, etc... Quote
Buddy Posted November 3, 2007 Author Report Posted November 3, 2007 Tried it with ProStreet, works flawless. Quote
