Not bad. Still getting GH3 with the Guitar, then getting Rock Band without the bundle. Wanna be able to play everything

It's not sure at this time whether the GH controller will be compatible with Rock Band. The new Rock Band controller has 5 additional keys for solos, and if those are required to play, then GH controllers won't be compatible.

Harmonix said the GH3 controllers would be compatible. You don't _need_ the five extra solo buttons (when you think about it, they need to be wired to the same button) or the toggle switch to play. They're just kinda cool.

Is that specific to the GH3 controllers, or all other GH controllers though?

I think all controllers work. Rock Band won't work with GH3, but that is activision only wanting you to use their own products (says so in their disclaimer - GH3 will only use activision approved guitars/controllers)

So basically if you already have a GH controller, you can use it with Rock Band or GHIII.

If the gameplay is essentially the same, then I'll probably poor over the song list and choose that way...

...and is there a RB demo out yet? I played the GHIII demo on 360 and it's not bad, just more of the same really.
