ChopperDave Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 Well, I got the 60 GB version, so I've got it all (except games) -- built-in wireless, memory card readers, and hardware-based backwards compatibility. I'm happy with this setup. Quote
Scinbed Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 I have an xbox 360, I don't see any reason to get a PS3. Quote
Mazy Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 Fucking Sony, I hoped they'd learn from Microsoft and NOT have a bunch of different dividing SKUs, but they actually managed to make it even worse. Anyway, I'm happy I got mine when I did. Might've paid an insane overprice (In fact you can get the 40gig for half the money I paid for mine in March), but at least I have some resemblance of backwards compatibility in it. Who knows, they're probably gonna put out a new SKU in the beginning of next year without Blu-ray, so you can only download stuff, call it the PS3 Online Edition But they're definitely doing the right thing in some regards. The price has to go down so people will buy it, and more developers will start making games for it. Its just sad to see them pull everything outta it until it starts selling. Quote

Psy Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 I recall that Sony said that they disliked Microsoft for having 2 SKUs and that it confused the consumers. Quote
