Felix Posted November 18, 2007 Author Report Posted November 18, 2007 yup. you're working at GRIN ? : O sounds like fun! Quote
Rick_D Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 doesn't really fit. Your foreground has round, rimmed edges and your background is plain, edgy and filled painted. (still great work though ) I agree here - the two elements look great; but they blend together quite oddly Quote
clayman Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 yup. you're working at GRIN ? : O sounds like fun! yup its fun i sit 3-4 meters from peter and nazier, and thomas, if you know them hows killzone2 coming along? Quote
Felix Posted November 18, 2007 Author Report Posted November 18, 2007 Hahaha : D Yup, I was about to ask you if you knew them ! And Killzone is looking and playing really nice. As for how the background blends with scenery in the front, ... I think there should be a fence or something, maybe some pipes "blending" the two together. Also i think there should be a character in the middle looking at the city. -Felix PS: greets to naz, pete and thomas !! Quote
krick3t Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 That last one is absolutely amazing! Quote
IR Posted November 18, 2007 Report Posted November 18, 2007 nice felix :] not entirely how i wouldhave mixed it (style diffrence fore and background)but cool non the less, cya to morrow ;/~ Quote
Ginger Lord Posted November 20, 2007 Report Posted November 20, 2007 Doesn't blend well at all as both sections are in focus. One needs to be blurred for the mind to make it work better. Quote

I tend to dissagree, there are alot of ways to blend fore and background. In Akira they hardly blur anything, but differentiate the fore and background by saturation, contrast, line thickness, perspective, parallex scrolling, detail etc etc. If I would blur the fore or background, and go for a more realistic fotographic image, I'd get rid of those outlines and in the background aswell. Not to attack youre critisim, youve got a point. : D Quote
