the design is a bit boring in my humble opinion. the menu is pretty generic and there is no need for flash at all. you could do it a lot more efficiently in css.

if you wanna stay simple and clean, take a look at philipks folio. its simple but has loads of style to it.

you could also get all of your gallery content right on the frontpage and make a one-page website out of it. you could strip down a lot of the jibberjabber from the about page or get rid of the references - the art needs to speak for itself anyway.

its up to you to lay out the page in the best possible way. be creative

hmm, still thinking about intergrated php in flash, does anyone know about a gallery system written in php, but that works with actionscript?

With actionscript you can load any webpage in any frame containing anything you want, including gallery systems.
