Pixel flickering

did you set the texture detail to very high? when i do so, i get nasty texture artifacts and when i quit the game, i see artifacts in windows too

btw, mine is a radeon 9800se, buggy

Tried it and it didn't full the whole screen.

I have texture resolution High in Portal and not "Very High".

I've been to the shop and they told me I would have to send the card in which would take 3-4 ****** Weeks! But the problem could also be caused by a broken DVI-D Cable which would be weird but I'm just testing it now with another cable.
