Crackerjack Posted September 15, 2004 Report Posted September 15, 2004 I want a mod where u see u like sit at your computer and let aliens suck ur brains out.. then u like occasionally swipe em off before you lose all your health. O! and make one where u like jump on bricks and eat mushrooms and ur screen gets very trippy and wierd things start happening. Dont forget the one where u can like go around and steal peoples cell phones off the street but sometimes u have to beat them up for it. Yeah.
xempest Posted September 16, 2004 Author Report Posted September 16, 2004 oh boy another realistic mod with the same fucking weapons as CS... Would it fucking kill you kids to at least ATTEMPT some originality in your mods? It looks good. But it looks like everything else under the goddamned sun. Boring, boring, boring. Similar weapon assortment, yes. Such a thing doesn't make it a silly CS clone though, it's much more in-depth than CS ever could be. For instance: - Each team may have any number of objectives, as well as sub-objectives. (Which are optional, but provide some sort of benefit for completing them.) - Teams may be split into squadrons, each with a nominated leader who can assign what tasks and objectives for the specific squad to complete. - It's not necessarily a clash between a terrorist force and a counter-terrorist force. The two teams can be whatever the mapper feels like assigning them to. It's a different story and feel for each map. - MI is class-based. Snipers, Scouts, CQB Specialists and the Commando. Each has their own weapon selection, as well as an additional niche for the team. Such additional abilities include lock-picking, healing with a medic, distributing additional ammo for teammates. - The crosshair can move independent of the view. (Hard to understand until you experience it, but it's innovative and very beneficial)
