Wunderboy
Ok, saw this advertised in the local Stockholm free paper. Translated (badly) word for word... Halo Concert at Berwaldhallen! A unique experience where game culture meets dance, rock n roll and symphony orchestra. Members of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra play the popular Halo music together with guitarist Jani Liimatainen (who?) Backyard Babies play their own music inspired by Halo (no wonder their shit) Stockholm 59 degrees North dance together with Halo's Master Chief with the help of motion capture technology. (lolbutts) And so on and so on... WTF. Thats going to be a wierd night out...

Zyn
Halo 3 is the most overrated game in human history ... so far. But, you haven't played it. Microsoft is advertising Halo 3 like the reincarnation of Jesus Christ, and I am getting really sick of it. I doubt it is as epic as they are trying to portray it. Pericolos0
I remember when I was at the Halo2 launch party in brussels and that was the worst party ever, so you won't see me here
Mazy
Gotta admit that I'm getting slightly excited the closer we get to it being released. The 4 player co-op definitely has my (and my colleagues) attention.
JAL
I was at the Dead Rising release party in Tokyo, it was very weird and awesome at the same time. Being in a club with people playing 360's and drinking beer. Also the mandatory japanese women dressed as zombies. Man I'd let those zombies eat me any day. Good times. It's not really all that surprising though, is it? An advertising budget the size of Halo 3's probably isn't warranted for any game (or thing) but it's become more than just a game release and Microsoft knows that, partly because they created a lot of the hype surrounding it. I just want a fun game to play
Sentura
if i wanted fun i'd not choose halo. try any other game.

Chunks
I've always though halo was pretty mediocre. As far as consoles go time splitters, bond, and perfect dark set the standard and as far as i'm concerned noone has them beat yet. If only they had an on-line component. Taylor
You can try to be innovative, original, try a unique style, tell a compelling story and all the rest of it. But ultimately the people you want to buy your games will still proclaim a generic shooter with enough marketing muscle to move a planet behind it to be the gaming messiah. I’m not trying to say it’s a bad game or particularly unfun, I'm sure it will be great. But all this hype is unbelieveable, nothing deserves this - especially not Halo. I see terms like 'Halo clones' and I simply don't understand - did Halo travel back in time to invent the power suit, Geiger’s aliens, Ringworld and the whole idea of a Sci-Fi FPS or something? If so I'm not surprised I missed it, but there seems to be a fatal flaw as I still understand it existed afterwards. Am I about to be visited by serious men in big expensive suits? The day it launches and gets 3 million sales (or thereabouts) in its first hour of release I’m going to be in a corner, with my mind in my happy place, blood running down my chin as I bite down on my tongue to stop the screaming. This may be somewhat hyperbolic. Edit: Post now makes slightly more sense, while still containing a healthy chunk of ignorance.
