Seldoon182 Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 Good job especially on the env_sun ! Quote
Zacker Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 This looks pretty damn good! My only small issues are that the rocks look generic egg-shaped and that the rockformation in the 2nd last shot looks lowpoly. Quote
JamesL Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 Be happy to give it a run around for you. I also have a CSS server I can host playtests on for you if needs be. Quote
Sly Assassin Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 Very nice screenshots, I'm impressed. Are those trees customs or from EP1? If not when can we lay our hands on them? I'd also like to help test Specs AMD 64bit 3599+ CPU 1024mb DDR400 Geforce EN7600GT Quote
robert.briscoe Posted September 13, 2007 Author Report Posted September 13, 2007 I would like to add normals to the rocks but in tests it worked out too expensive, its a constant battle between image quality and performance/gameplay atm and with this map im really trying to get a good balance of the two. I think it will work quite well with CS gameplay, I've tested it with bots and a few friends over lan and its been pretty fun so far, however I'd like to test it with a larger group (16-20 ppl). As I have said before the map really isnt huge, it's roughly the same size and layout as De_Dust in fact but has more open eneded in gameplay terms. Its all a risk, of course, but I think its worth doing something original than another factory map or office map. Quote
zeon Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 im up for testing. specs: Striker extreme motherboard Geforce 8800GTS (320MB KO(EVGA overclocked) 2gb 800MHz cossiar ram. e6600 Due 2 core cpu. Quote

Steppenwolf Posted September 13, 2007 Report Posted September 13, 2007 Looks very nice but the forrest seems in a very unhealthy condition. These kind of trees usualy have green leafs around the whole year. Quote
