Just played for a couple of hours and it's really great fun. I can see a lot of my spare time being sunk into this game. :-D

love the cartoony gfx too, very much suits the style of game.

My lunch break normally ends at 2pm, but I just stopped playing and it's 2:30. And I haven't had any lunch yet :) It ran pretty well on my work computer (dual core AMD, 2Gb RAM, 512MB 7950GT), but when the server got full and the action was all centred around one corridor or so the server really began to chug.

Played for 2-3 hours now and it's fun as hell. Of course the servers have their fair share of "elitist bastards" who say it sucks, it's not like TFC, etc etc. Hey guys, it's TF2 , not TFC2. I doubt they worked on it for eons just to make an exact replica, with hot graphics, of an aging game.

yeah i think my card might be over heating but its brand new and has the latest drivers

favorite classes are the scout, engineer and hw (i cant stop laughing when i see the hw guy)

After playing most maps and giving it the necessary time I think, it doesn't seems to me the game that is going to last too long. Not at least between the games I use to play. Learning curve is quite short in most classes, except spy or engineer, all the rest are pretty simplistic. There is required skill to play as a whole team but not as an individual. Call it replay value or whatever you want, but this TF2 has not too much of it. Sure is fun to play but I really miss some extra features the original TFC had.

On the other side, is really polished and there are some very clever gameplay additions, like the way round ends when none team is able to win. Pretty intense and fun moments.

If your card is overheating then I really advise getting that looked at while you still can. It'll only get worse as damage is caused to the hardware, and if you're getting display artefacts and corruptions then this is almost certainly the case.

Newer GeForce cards have temperature probes which something like nTune can read and display, which might be worth doing. Also ensure the card's fan is operating properly (it should definitely be spinning, and when under heavy load it should audibly spin faster much like you might hear your Xbox 360 doing ).
