err its wrong because if you take the pokemon games they compilled the units sold not by single game but series... ex. pokemon blue+red+green..

Last I checked, HL was up at 7 million copies total, and HL2 at 4.5.

There are however other games I would have thought to score better. Including at least one Zelda game....

i find this very offensive to all the excellent games with good ratings that werent put on the chart. it's a shame that marketing and franchise still plays such a huge role when a rich game should do just that. then again, there's a reason why the money charts are few and far inbetween, and thank * for that.

i mean seriously, look at it: all the pokemon games are there, most of the marios and that it.

1/That game suck as hell.

2/It's a quite new game, for a new console...

released in Japan on April 21, 2005, and was later released in North America and Singapore on August 22, 2005.

In two years O_O... More than Super Mario Land on GameBoy in 18 years !

WoW has ~9 million active accounts atm. If these sales numbers are correct, then all who have ever bought WoW would still be paying each month - I highly doubt this.

Not that surprising when you consider the sales numbers of the DS. I've never played Nintendogs myself, but I can imagine it's high on that list for the same reasons Brainage is. And I wouldn't say it's just the Japanese buying it, as far as I know it sold pretty strong in NA/Europe as well.
