⌐■_■ Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 Good luck with that hardware, you lucky bastard. Quote
Vinny Testaverde Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 You have got to tell us the total price tag! how much did you pay for the whole thing? because that is a nice setup, and I might want to get that same thing... Quote
Sentura Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 ha! that is only the asus striker basic mobo! guess who has the EXTREME version! also what temperature does your cpu run at? mine doesnt get above 43 in games/under load. Quote
cyberjunkie Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 A very wise upgrade. Good value for money components! 4GB RAM not really but if its Vista 64 you're running or even XP 64 it's OK. I personally can't stand Vista 64 Quote
Taylor Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 I want a list of everything. Everything. And I want you to imagine me saying it like Gary Oldman in Leon. Quote
Buddy Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 Getting a 500gig hdd wasn't good idea, it would be better to take 2x 320, anyways nice machine you got there. Quote
Nexus Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 damn it's really shining.. jealous of your computer damn! Quote
hessi Posted September 8, 2007 Author Report Posted September 8, 2007 Intel Core 2 Quad 6600 4x 1GB G.Skill DDR2 800 500 GB Samsung SATA drive with 7200RPM BENQ DVD burner (my older one) 16x speed Floppy drive (yeah! need this for backup tools or retards who still live in 1995) Asus P5K-E Wifi AP Zalman CPU Cooler Chieftec 600W power supply Coolermaster computer case well that's what i can reconstruct from my mind actually i only paid the RAM and the CPU cooler. so it was like 200 euro to me the rest was paid by a company i once worked for i am running Vista 64 buisness so the 4GB RAM pay off. in idle mode CPU temperature is around: 38 °C while playing DOD:S with 160 fps cpu is at 46°C btw: running DOD:S brings 3 cores under pressure. the 4th is semi active. cant wait to get the episode2 engine update. then the 4 cores might be all fuelled this is my 998th post. i got to wait with the 1000th post. maybe i should register another account to not cross the border too early Quote
skdr Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 DoD:S doesn't support multicore so I'm sure those other cores are doing something else than running DoD:S Also, I don't understand why you need a floppy drive. Quote
Steppenwolf Posted September 8, 2007 Report Posted September 8, 2007 Floppy Drive in e-penis is like a big pimple on real penis. Quote
