EjrulF Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 Testing Meshsmooth, it seems very useful Quote
Marcos Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 very realistic good job! Maybe alittle smoother edges will make them even better? Quote
Splitta Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 photoskin? ^^ model looks really cool Quote
zaphod Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 my only critique is that maybe there should be a sharper definition between the frame and the lenses. Looks pretty cool though. Quote
EjrulF Posted September 11, 2004 Author Report Posted September 11, 2004 I made no photoskins/textures for this one, it's all made of materials that come with 3dsmax5. I used Reflection_lake, Metal_grey_plain and Metal_chrome. Here you got some wires. It's pretty highpoly, but I didn't care  It still got a pretty annoying error, but I'm no expert so I let the pics explain. Meshsmooth = off Meshsmooth = on Any ideas why it hates me? :-? I guess it something simple. Quote
OL Posted September 11, 2004 Report Posted September 11, 2004 looks good, but this is why you dont learn to model using meshsmoothe first. it can cover over some huge mistakes in your mesh. id say learn lowpoly first and then if you still want to, start using meshsmoothe etc Quote
Duff-e Posted September 12, 2004 Report Posted September 12, 2004 things always look so much better as wireframes to me Quote
