mjens Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 ":1iz74ao5]360€ per month?? Wtf, that's even less than the minimum salary here at portugal (380€), and our economy stands on the top3 European, counting from last, of course! I know... it's very sad. Few weeks ago I was in other company and they wanted to pay me 600 euro... Quote
-HP- Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 Quality assurance/Testers, often seen as the "first step" into the industry, earned an average of USD 37,861. For three or fewer years of experience, however, the average salary fell to USD 26,410. 37 000 U.S. dollars = 27 138 Euros 27 138 / 12 = 2261€ ahah, I wish I had a salary of 2261€! I don't even have half of this. dux Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 Producers earned, on average, USD 77,131 across all experience levels Great. the ones with 0 talent get all the money as usual. Quote

Few weeks ago I was in other company and they wanted to pay me 600 euro... Wow, thats really low. That amounts to £400, which is incredibly low here in England. I'd expect something like £1500 a month or something similar, even for the first job. Thats only £18,000 a year. And you say that's one of the biggest companies in Poland, bloody hell man. Then again, I don't know what things cost over there, in England we have a really bad housing situation which may affect things. Quote
-HP- Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 I know... it's very sad. Few weeks ago I was in other company and they wanted to pay me 600 euro... I earn 850€ per month, atm. Definitely not bad for first job if you ask me Quote

^Slick Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 woot i am finally getting what people averagely get in my position Yay! To change subject a little, what do people think about becoming a alpha tester being a decent entrance into the industry? I'd prefer not to become a tester but if it really is such a easy way in, as long as you've got the skills to move up of course then I may consider it. Quote
^Slick Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 Peanuts? Fooking hell howd that post get in here in the time I clicked submit and the forum loaded :S Quote
Psy Posted September 5, 2007 Report Posted September 5, 2007 Being a game tester is a good way of getting into the industry but you'll will need some sort of higher education in English writing. Quote

A rent of 6-700 euro is normal if you don't want to live in the woods. Quote
