#1 Duck Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 Recently I have been working in Episode one to make a Hospital which has been left abandoned for quite some time, I have yet to decide what sort of gameplay this will be. It has to have gameplay elements to it, which is why there are lights, most of which are flickering. Comments and Critisism Are always welcome. Quote

Sentura Posted September 4, 2007 Report Posted September 4, 2007 your 2 cent you mean? anyway it looks really bland. i know hospitals are supposed to be very sterile environments, but you could still add some screens etc etc. whenever i am at a hospital, i never see anything bland like that, you always have glasses, tables etc everywhere. I wanted awhile ago, when I first play Ep. 1 to make a HL2:DM map around a hospital, cause I loved the hospital props avaliable. But I was told I couldn't import the models to HL2DM cause of legal stuff. Did you? Or is this mapped and played in Episode1? Quote

No sprites used, just HDR, light and light_spot entities. Did you? Or is this mapped and played in Episode1? It has been mapped in Episode 1. I like, but I find the first to screens very blue though... I didn't think it seemed tha blue, I wanted to take some of the brightness out of the white. Quote

I won't say much as I've already told you my thoughts on Half-Wit 2, but still I think the lighting needs a little change. maybe make it a less noticeable blue and make it darker, to make the spotlights stand out and to make it more abandoned. :wink: Quote
