good luck man.

I think you'll have a good time with a break from the industry. And if you don't like where it's heading, you can always go back to game dev (since you probably have a kickass portfolio by now ;))

Wow. Ballsy move. I have a lot of respect for that decision because it must have not been an easy one. I am asking myself the same question sometimes.... like, when am I gonna study, get a degree etc.?

I don't know.

But I think you did the right thing. :)

Good luck. And just because you are studying doesn't mean you can't participate in the industry. You're experience would be valuable to many a mod team, else you can find internships in gaming space to help you further explore what you eventually want to do.

Not quite there yet but one day I'll need smart people to work for me who know games...I can get my own coffee.
