Hitman Trailer

I'm still not feeling this soft-faced guy as Hitman much, but I have to admit that trailer was otherwise pretty solid. I couldn't really point at any particular part and say it was bad, and if there was a more aged-looking head on Hitman himself it'd be a superb translation.

I think we've all realised by now that, just like has been the case with books throughout the entirety history of film, it's very unlikely a game's story will make the transition untouched, or even lightly touched. If you somehow haven't yet realised this... well, it's time.

While this looks like one of the first great game to movie adaptations (suck it Uwe), its a shame they just couldn't stick to the game.

Why is he shaving his head in the shower? I thought 47 was supposed to be genetically bald.

Whats with the love and romance? In the first game, after he helped a Chinese girl escape (upon which she gives him a kiss), he looked totally grossed out.

Huge explosions and gunning people down? He's supposed to be the ultimate silent assassin.

Religion? Hmmm, maybe. In some games he kills strictly under contract, in one game his motive was because they kidnapped a priest. But even then he was working under contract with the help of the agency I believe.

This stuff annoys me as a Hitman fan. I can understand that when your making a film from a book, there will be major differences because everyone can interpret a book in a different way. But videogames are almost like movies already, since you've got everything in visual, audio and text.

The actor actually doesn't bother me though, since its understandable that they can't have an exact match from a virtual character unless they did the entire movie in CGI.

I'm still going to watch it though!

i'd rather just not have a baby face character, although the part with the shower made me want to cry/kill. overall a decent trailer, but it puzzles me that you have a narrator instead of 47 himself speaking.

oh and the girl? damn fine business right there.
