Need to dramatically change some parts of my map for optimizing :/ Maybe try getting someone else to compile that section with the 3dskybox and find out if they're getting the same issue. Then you can at least rule out if it's an isolated issue or an actual problem with the map.

I'm redoing the whole map now with a kind of a different layout :/
Pongles Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 the problem is the stuff in the 3dsky doesnt get the same lighting as the stuff in the actual map. I had a similar problem in one of my ins maps and couldnt fix it, so i had to remove parts of it wasn't that the bridge in baghdad?
Furyo Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 Well, sorry if this is too late, but you should try to have the bottom part of your 3D skybox sky brushes be textured in nodraw. I've seen this problem fixed by doing that, to imitate the rest of the map where normally the sky brushes should only be on top (and the sides) PS: Thread necrophilia ftw
