entertainment in Spain.

Pyro Studios' mission is to develop videogames of the highest possible

quality. Its first products – the Commandos saga – proved international hits, distributed in more than 50 countries.

Currently composed of over 120 professionals including programmers,

graphic designers, musicians and game designers.

LEAD GAME DESIGNER

Overall responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Producer and Project Manager, and working closely with the programming and art leads, you will manage a team of designers to conceive a new next generation title. This will include, among others, the following responsibilities:

- Conceive, design, and pitch original ideas.

- Create, maintain and coordinate the game design documentation (Concept Design, Detailed Design,…).

- Ensure the game design integrity and consistency throughout the entire project.

- Manage opinions and critiques (internal & external) to the game design and conduct these with clear and consistent direction to the Design team.

- Participate in the interface design and usability analysis of development tools.

Specific responsibilities:

- Lead and assist a team of Designers, ensuring that the production goals set for the department are met within timelines.

- Detect and foresee risks, providing practical solutions to detected design problems.

- Document and communicate relevant information to other designers and department leads.

Requirements:

- +5 years of professional experience designing videogames. At least one finished AAA game as Lead Game Designer.

- Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills (written and verbal), being able to transmit difficult and creative concepts in a clear and concise manner.

- Highly creative thinker, able to transform ideas into feasible and entertaining concepts.

- Strong knowledge of basic game design and level design theory/principles.

Pluses:

- Work experience in using 3D modelling programs or level building tools.

- Work experience in using scripting languages like Lua or UnrealScript.

- Academic formation in game design.

- Provide a document (max. 2 pages) analyzing the flaws of your 2 favourite games from last year, and how you would improve upon them.

- Desirable:

- Spanish language skills.

      Two new asset releases!

      First up is Basalt. Sadly I can't release all of the assets as some of the nature stuff is from Megascans and can't be redistributed. Also only includes the assets I've made.
