D3ads Posted July 9, 2007 Report Posted July 9, 2007 I've mentioned this before but haven't needed to do anything for sometime. Anyway, Im using virtualdub to compress a video recorded in FRAPS, but everytime I compress using any format (Div X, indeo etc) it always comes out really dark, what the Hell am I doing wrong? :/ Quote

Sindwiller Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 There should be a brightness/contrast option in VB. I dunno, I didn't use it for some time... Quote
Metal-la-la-la Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 Try "Super" to encode your videos. you can encode in any file type http://www.erightsoft.com/S6Kg1.html (the download link is under the helicopter ad) Also, this problem may come from your video player. Maybe it plays the divx files darker than the others Quote
D3ads Posted July 11, 2007 Author Report Posted July 11, 2007 it's picking up your natural gothic vibe Useful. This is the deal with compressing the videos: At the top you have the uncompressed video and on the bottom is what happens whenever I compress it with whatever codec be it DivX, Xvid, indeo or whatever else, it always comes out looking like that :/ Quote
⌐■_■ Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 Have you tried WMV codecs for encoding? They could be brighter then the divX codecs.. Succes~ Quote
