Minos Posted June 11, 2007 Report Posted June 11, 2007 wow looks outstanding, I'm definately gonna give it a try. Quote
Minos Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 I think this is one of the most boring games I have ever played. The controls are awkward and unresponsive, making jumping up a tree one of the biggest challenges in the game. The game idea is pretty cool itself but the level design is boring and minimalistic. I don't know about the rest of the game since I gave it up during the training level because the controls pissed me off. I still like the idea and the looks of it. If they turned physics off it would make controls a lot easier, since you don't really need phys on a simple platform game like that. Quote
Section_Ei8ht Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 I played it for a bit. The concept is great and very original. The game looks very unique, but I will agree that it does get a little boring, but then again, most side scrollers get boring to me after about 5 minutes. Quote
rockdude86 Posted June 12, 2007 Report Posted June 12, 2007 just played it a bit and it definitely shows they made it in such little time... allmost all those "school project" games suck ass because they dont have the time to get it working right Quote

General Vivi Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 I actually played this game today for a bit and id have to say switching to the "evil" side is pretty kick ass . The idea behind having to switch back and forth between powers is pretty cool and the art style is very nice. I want to play more but its time for bed . They could totally turn this into a xbox live arcade game or something imo Quote
JamesL Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Wow! Kinda hard to believe it's based on the source engine~ Will try it out asap! Indeed what an excellent use of Source, love it. Reminds me of Little Big Planet in its style. Quote
Thrik Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 I think the most impressive part is quite simply that the entire thing was made in one month, and that it had to be fully tested and released at that point with no further modification. For a bunch of amateurs in university that's quite an accomplishment, especially considering just how much modification has gone on to make it look not even remotely similar to HL2. If you're downloading the mod and expecting a retail-ready game then you're obviously going to be disappointed; clearly they went for polish and stability over providing hours of hardcore fun. Has any amateur mod in history ever managed to do that on its first release? Score: 7/10 "Fair!" Quote
ifO Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 It's... it's wonderful. Shame it's only a platformer, I hope this is extended to involve a bit more. Quote
Sentura Posted June 14, 2007 Report Posted June 14, 2007 that's danish people for you i think it was pretty good, a bit frustrating at times (especially with the bees), but overall very well made and i was actually contemplating making my own map for it. shame it was only 1 level Quote
