Problem with IRC..

I can't get on IRC at all anymore, now that Panda Antivirus has upgraded to the 2007 version it asks me to allow or disallow the connection to mIRC and if I click either or just leave the program running without clicking anything I get a blue screen;

DRIVER_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Wtf? I don't have a clue why there would be a driver error.. I wondered if using an old version of mIRC was causing the fault but even installing the latest version causes the same problem..

Yea get Antivir instead. http://www.free-av.de/

It's free and has a lot of regular updates. Only annoying thing about it is that it tends to update in the evening, which is when I usually play games

Heh this is my dad's computer, I can't even get him to use Firefox over IE because it 'looks different' *headdesk*. I use AVG on my own machine, awesome program.

Disconnect all peripheral devices and uninstall all drivers.
