zaphod Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 The only books Ive read have been stuff that was forced upon me in school, so Ive been scared for life D:!~ But Ive been interested in checking out Masters of Doom, looks quite interesting (although Ive heard it wasnt all that great from som people :G) masters of doom is one of the most influential books I have read in a long time. Definetly worth a read for everyone on these forums. Quote
EjrulF Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 I like mystery & thrillers books, but I'm soo lazy it takes forever to read thru one. My favourite books are the Kurt Wallander series by Henning Mankell (swedish writer). But I like the Tolkien books too, The Hobbit, LOTR etc. Quote
Izuno Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 finished Inside Delta Force by Eric Hanley recently Reading Bourne Supremacy right now...though i'm not getting into it as much as i've hoped. Then i have a bunch of business non-fiction. I suppose i should finish the 3rd book of Lord of the Rings some day. Quote
mikezilla Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 in addition to my earlier statements I CHOOSE GRYFFINDOR. (which is not from to kill a mockingbird, even though i'd like it to be) Quote
kleinluka Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 Not reading any books at the moment. But now that I see this thread I'm really tempted to buy one. I need something to help me not be bored on weekends (besides my digi cam)... Any suggestions? Let's hear! Quote

TomWithTheWeather Posted August 24, 2004 Report Posted August 24, 2004 I'm currently digging Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged. Two very good and expertly written books. If you're into fantasy and are tired of LoTR and WoT, try reading George R. R. Martin's Song of Fire and Ice series. Good stuff. Quote
Duff-e Posted August 25, 2004 Report Posted August 25, 2004 my mom reads all that ayn rand's stuff.....dunno...not for the duffman Quote
