Erratic Posted May 20, 2007 Report Posted May 20, 2007 This will be the greatest film of the 00s. Quote
KungFuSquirrel Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 Awesome. Julie Benz, too; I approve! Quote
Mojo Posted May 21, 2007 Report Posted May 21, 2007 HAHAHA words cannot describe that trailer / movie, well maybe awesome. Words besides awesome cannot describe that trailer Quote
merkaba Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 First Blood (the first Rambo movie) is awesome. As far as I can remember, the 2nd two movies were just 'same old' action movies, but the very first one wasn't really an action movie. 2nd movie: Rambo gets pulled out of prison to perform top-secret mission. 3rd movie: Rambo gets sent to afghanistan to rescue a Colonel. 1st movie....Rambo gets arrested in some hick town for nothing other than looking shifty, ends up escaping prison and running from the law and surviving in the neighbouring forests, whilst US law enforcements try and hunt him down. Rambo kicks their asses (or rather, evades them as AFAIK he only kills one person, by accident). I haven't seen the 2nd movie though, so maybe that's alright...but the plot, issues and emotion of the first one are appealing. Quote
MrBaracuda Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 I think the 3rd one is the cheesiest of them all. 2nd is okai but as you pointed out the first one is the best. I'm not too happy with the "retired Rambo goes out to rescue peace activists near Cambodia or wherever because they're stupid" plot of the new one ;D But maybe he's just getting his boat back >_> Btw, noticed how we've most likely seen the whole movie by watching the trailer already? ;D Quote
Grinwhrl Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 Seen this the other day, looks awesome and Hilarious Quote
MrBaracuda Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 Just checked imdb, and it's kinda lol "The next chapter finds Rambo recruited by a group of Christian human rights missionaries to protect them against pirates..." Not good was this though: 25 May 2008 Quote
Thrik Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 That was probably all they've made of the movie so far. The final film will clearly be constant action though. Quote
Thrik Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 Yes. New Rambo film being in production has been common knowledge for months; this trailer simply confirms that it's making good progress. Quote
Rick_D Posted May 22, 2007 Report Posted May 22, 2007 haha i just watched it, so ok the old rambo movies were actually very bad movies - but this is just hilarious. silly fat old man trying to make some money :S Quote
