it is banked, but I'm not really sure how much until I get in there and drive on it.

If anyone has suggestions for things to have around the track I'm all ears. A lot of it is going to be infilled with grass, and the little islands in there I figured will have some grass and flowers or something on them with some kind of signs or structures rising out of it. I'm also thinking of putting the entire thing inside a stadium that is half open to the sky.

Have a look at some of the big racetracks around the world, especially the F1 tracks.

What would be awesome would be a racetrack which includes all the best corners from the best racetracks in the world. Infact a rich guy has done that, but cant remember the name of his track, was in the last episode of Top Gear, its in spain somewhere:

ah, I see what you mean, it just clips it off if your monitor isn't wide enough. Well it's mirred on each side so you should be able to get the gist of it :P

I will make my images smaller the next time.

right, the click drag works. however someone needs to notify mojo or thrik about this so we can get horizontal scrollbars. as for the track, it looks like one of them standard tracks you see in most games. i preferred the looks of the first one you posted; especially with the ice floe thing. i am huge fan of micro machines racing games where there are things in each track you can use to your advantage (or disadvantage).

got some base textures slapped on there, need to start adding more details now.

Sentura: I know it's not the craziest track ever but I think we need at least one boring base map in order to test a lot of basic stuff about the game. There will be plenty of more imaginative tracks.

I was thinking of making it all inside a stadium, but I like the idea of a city in the background, maybe the stadium could be open enough to see some buildings outside.
