I play in WoW on a US server...but simply because I have a few clients with big upcoming MMO projects and I decided I better start playing MMOs to understand what the hell I was talking about it.

WoW is really annoying while it's also "cute" as my fiance would say and interesting when you think about the in game economy of MMOs in general. (Sorry I was an MMO noob until a couple months ago). That said I am getting sort of sick of WoW as it's becoming a grind and I long for more interesting gameplay.

I was about to just give up on WoW, until Blizzard announced major changes for the game in the upcoming patch (v2.1) just recently, which is currently on the testrealms. Almost every epic item buffed, changes to potions, bugfixes and changes to high level instances, and more, is going to make it less of a grind, and more fun.

One thing they've addressed is the potions. Previously, you had to spend a fortune on potions (that increases health, mana, damage, etc) each night you were going to raid a 25-man instance; Serpentshire Cavern and upwards, which today is completely out of whack. In the patch, you are going to able to only have 2 potion-buffs on you, as they are divided into 2 groups: Offensive & Defensive.

Due to the change, they got a good reason to upgrade almost all epic items obtainable at level 70, due to the loss of potion-buffs. If the game would stay as it is right now, I'd kiss it goodbye, but the upcoming patch is something many long for.

I'm on Haomorush, lots of Io guys play there. Just hit level 40 with my Shaman there but I kinda plan on taking a break now (40 always takes the steam off, plus I wanna play other stuff).

Oh and its a PvP server, so if you're still using the Druid from Bloodhoof then you're fucked if you wanna move there :)

Aiidoneus, Orc Warlock (Horde), on Vashj (PvP/EU). Though I’m not on much because I’m low on free time right now.

I’m definitely keeping an eye on WAR, I think it could be a WoW killer and if I think that then the people stuck playing PvP in a PvE game definitely do. If they don’t do a Vanguard and make the correlation that hardcore is fun it should be a winner. Beta soon, too.

I quit after the expansion, more of the same, the new areas started to bore me when i hit 70, and i really didn't feel lik going through all the raiding etc. all over again.

The added PvP also didn't have the charm to keep my playing.

Played the game from sicne it was released untill 2 or 3 weeks after TBC.

I have started playing again after having moved my main(mage) to Haomarush to play with the other guys. I am at lvl 68 now, so still a good bunch of content left in TBC for me to explorer.

TBC ruined an a lot of stuff(imba greens, etc.), so I am playing in a much more casual way than I did before, which is also why I am still not 70.

I also still got my 64 paladin at Shadowsong, but I am rarely on that char.

not sure how much it is related, but how many of you guys would contemplate playing this when it comes out?

I'm very interested to see how this develops. Warhammer is nerdily awesome though I don't personally play the tabletop game but I was a Games Worksho gamers day in Baltimore about 4 years ago while working on a Warhammer game at THQ.

Back onto WOW topic, I have lvl 39 Druid on Mok'Nathal (a US server) and I am actually doing OK in PVP combat but I'm still new to the PvP part of the game.
