Acumen Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 http://warcraft4.fr http://diablo3.fr but these belong to vivendi and that starcraft2.com to blizzard so.. nevermind edit: yeh, new page for that...
Zacker Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 What about MMORTS? Blizzard have learned the market is more than ready for MMO's and that this is where the big money is earned. At the same time, it would be dumb to compete with their existing MMORPG and consumerbase. This leads me to believe that some sort of MMORTS would be the wisest choice, at least from a financial point of view.
skdr Posted May 17, 2007 Author Report Posted May 17, 2007 www.starcraft2.com Same timeline running there as on http://www.blizzard.com. Uh, it just redirects. Guys, Half-Life 3 is coming for sure!!! http://half-life3.com/
Izuno Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 http://www.steamingpileofshit.com etc. LOL um....just curious but since i'm too lazy to look it up, who owns or built or put up that website? i'm guessing it wasn't valve
Zacker Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 http://www.steamingpileofshit.com etc. LOL um....just curious but since i'm too lazy to look it up, who owns or built or put up that website? i'm guessing it wasn't valve  Actually the website is built by Valve as all that domain contains is a frame with http://www.steampowered.com in it. Regarding the ownership: http://www.networksolutions.com/whois/r ... ofshit.com
Izuno Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 I know the content is all Valve's, but I meant who built the frame? ...which you researched and posted a link to so thanks. And if you read that, it's Registrant: Site Manager 3001 Communications Plano, Texas 75093 United States So someone in Plano. Anyone from Plano around here who might know who 3001 Communications is? Seems like it's an apartment or townhouse complex. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%2 ... gle+Search
MrBaracuda Posted May 17, 2007 Report Posted May 17, 2007 I like his mail spaminator@binladenisdead.net
Zacker Posted May 18, 2007 Report Posted May 18, 2007 Yet another random theory from me: It could also be that Blizzard, just as all their fans, were unable to decide upon which game to make next. So maybe they are going to announce two new games tomorrow!
Erratic Posted May 18, 2007 Report Posted May 18, 2007 They're also looking for a mobile UI designer, I bet it's just warcraft II for a cell phone
FrieChamp Posted May 18, 2007 Report Posted May 18, 2007 Imagine a WoW mobile version! You could play WoW even when you are not at home! That would be....terrible.
ifO Posted May 18, 2007 Report Posted May 18, 2007 Hah, it would actually be a good thing for all the addicts who never see daylight... You could get bonus points for meeting with other players in real life (i.e. your phones get close enough together) to make the game more sociable and less of a sad disease. or maybe you get bonus points just for going outdoors... note: I say bonus points because I've never played a mmorpg
