I think Halo is great in terms of the feel of the shooting, game mechanics and so on, but all the stuff that's been released so far from Halo 3 (MP) has left me utterly unimpressed. Mostly it looks like a higher res version of Halo 1 MP.

I'm sure it'll be fun and all, but I just cant get excited about it, plus beyond having some solid gameplay then Halo does nothing for me anymore.

Hopefully the single player stuff will be more interesting.

I played 10 minutes of Halo and turned it off and never played it again. Never played Halo 2 but it looked pretty much the same. Consoles and good FPS games just doesn't compute for me

I didn't either, but a FPS has got to be really special for me to like it. Plus points for not being realistic, at least.

buut after watching the video I thought it was pretty interesting - I always like seeing stuff like this - anyone know of actual full length documentaries out there?

i enjoyed halo 1 single player, i don't remember if i play/have halo 2 or not, which goes to say something about your product if you cant tell 2 apart. the mp was pretty fun if you play it with other people, but i can't stand playing anything on a split screen. the main thing that always bugged me about halo was the levels, they were just giant death match arenas with no practical purpose to anything. they're pretty versions of those "my first map!" maps. even in single player. it just lacks variation, there are those cement/metal/glass things all over and then grass and rock. depending on which environment you're in, it always looks exactly the same. blah blah blah, i can't put my thoughts into coherent words once again.

Never been a big fan of FPS on consoles and I'm afraid I never will be. I've gotten less opposed to the idea, but I've only played Halo on PC. I finished it and enjoyed it for the most part.

I tried to get through Halo 2 two times but had to stop from pain. I don't know, it just bored me to death. Even the nice twist of playing an Elite couldn't keep me going.

I've never played it in multiplayer, so I can't really tell.

The footage I've seen of Halo 3 so far is quite underwhelming to me. I can't get excited about swapping teleporters for jump pads err excuse me I mean "man cannoning" in 2007. The visuals also look pretty weak to me.

I'm somehow sure they will make it an enjoyable experience for the masses though.

I need to stop making so many line breaks when writing.
