Me too! I just started 2 days ago and haven't used source before. :D

I started Friday - unfortunatly no where near finished. However the good thing about that is I can get some custome textures together and a few models and release something im 100% happy with.

Having the 1024 size 'constraint' was a great idea.

hello there.

Im not a mapper,but Im a map lover and all these maps look blinding.Cheers to mapcore for running this comp,and nice one to you all mappers for these wonderful pieces of art.

At 22g we run 5 servers for DM,and one of em is for small maps.

Now I dont wanna sound too cheeky,but can you all add at least 12 spawns points too your maps so we can then add some of them to our small maps server.

Anyway looking forward to see the results,good luck too you all.

As noone has said anything I'll give myself the time to upload the map the 30th aswell. As for hooligans question (or whatever that should be considered to be...) I've allready managed to squeeze in 12 player spawns and you may feel free to add my map to the server as it's released... however I haven't tested the map together with other people yet so I dunno how the gameplay'll be like... also I've been busy lately so well, the optimisation isn't finished... unfortunately, so I don't really know what fps we'll be experiencing. :roll:

haha Erratic, I'm feeling the same way though at least I didn't start the damned thing ;)

Would have liked to get more done last weekend but my parents were in town... getting some work this weekend but now I'm in full-on last minute mode. I have to learn how to light in Source in the next few hours, but I'm at least fairly confident about the layout, although it's a bit tight.

I guess the voting should be started when we will be past the testing on Rick's server, not just after the submissions, it will be more fair, I'd say start voting in a week after all maps are released and tested.

Haha had to learn it too today :-D . It's pretty unfamiliar if you're used too doom3 engine, I found myself hitting F7 on the keyboard numerous times out of reflex. :D
