Keep it atleast civil in here, past few pages (post-Shacknews explosion) are good, but I did have to edit out some of the more crappy / useless comments.

hey, if someone leaves stolen textures in the game and its THAT OBVIOUS... did you honestly think people wouldn't find out? it's like dumping a big pile of cocaine at timesquare with at sign next to it that reads PLEASE SNORT ME. I'm suuuuuure that wouldn't hit the news either.

Well it's a conspiracy, what make's us think Window's doesn't have part's of Linux Source Code, maybe that's why they dont wont to go open Source. Since Microsoft steal idea's from it's competitors all the time cough*IE7*cough

They also have parts of BSD's IP stack stuff, which they turned OSS I think...

What about "Windows uses pirated software?"

I said *also* :P I can really imagine that M$ uses pirated software or steals sourcecode from FOSS projects. Honestly.

Even a man with a small nose would have found this stuff. ;)

I just took a quick look around of the textures they used (to use them in my d3 mod *kidding*) how big the skins are, shader stuff and so on.

As working with the Doom3 engine for years the stuff jumped into my eyes.

My intention is not or was never to harm GSC. They made a great game and i still enjoy it.

But i asked myself why mod-projects have been closed by lawers because they used a wrong name like a duke-mod or stargate/ starwars stuff.

On the other hand companies are spending a lot of money into copy-protections but dont have the money or resources to make some simple lightimages themself or take the time in 6 years of development to remove them so they are not left over? this was my intention in posting it here. i always look at files/structure of games im interesting in doing stuff for. you can learn nice things and get new ideas how to do stuff in other engines. :)

Im sure this was an accident. so please dont hunt me with forks or burn me on a pile of wood. :-7
