Some of them certainly are, so it's definitely an illegal list. Whether or not you find it ethical to download soundtracks from games you own is your choice.

I suppose, but I liked the Mercenaries soundtrack so much I actually found an official CD online and bought it. Very happy with my purchase!

Jesper Kyd is the Man, and yea, Mercenaries is a great soundtrack like the Hitman OST's which I bought as well.

And on an ethic view, buying music from a game you already bought ( and in consequence the music going with it ) is complete bullshit, and in my opinion, just a pretext for the publisher to make money on the fanboys back. But i say that, i say nothing ..

Only games I've got physical soundtracks for come bundled with obscure Japanese games, unless it's games that have real music like GTA it's a pain in the ass to get an OST over here.

And i was wondering something, if a soundtrack cd from a game is made, by who the money is taken ? the publisher, the devloppement studio ? And does the musician got royalities on the sells ?
