Nysuatro Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 uuh, i though vegas was awesome. I really enjoyed that. You obviously didn't play multiplayer. Yeah, i didn't Quote
Skjalg Posted March 11, 2007 Report Posted March 11, 2007 if its done correctly, I think it can kick some serious ass, single and multiplayer-wise Quote
von*ferret Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 I like the simplicity of the gameplay and controls, its focused and well thought out game mechanics. I dont think thats PC's strong suit. PC takes advantange of keyboard sprawl in games like BF2 and such, more complicated mechanics. So yeah, pc version is neat, but it doesn't play like it does with the 360 controller in your hands. Skjalg Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 well said, who's to say they wont change a thing or two? Maybe implement jumping... Quote
von*ferret Posted March 12, 2007 Report Posted March 12, 2007 jumping doesn't really benefit the gameplay though. The idea is hopping from cover to cover to engage the enemy. They have leaping over cover, but honestly jumping would just quicken the gameplay. Quote

Jump is more frustrating a feature than it's usually worth; if you can get the same functionality with context-use scenarios, you win. It's not really a requirement of anything save for platformers - though twitch DM games certainly make good use of it too. And Crackdown. Quote
