El Moroes Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 Wow impressive! The 3D View is like a photo! Quote
Bluestrike Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 Ah cool dualscreen support, hmm I forgot everything about Sandbox by now I think Quote
FrieChamp Posted March 4, 2007 Report Posted March 4, 2007 I can't work without my 2nd screen anymore D: Quote
Fletch Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 I can't work without my 2nd screen anymore D: Unreal 3 is the same way. Sometimes I wish I had a third. Quote

KungFuSquirrel Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 I'm still going to crown Radiant the king of dual-monitor effectiveness but UnrealEd is awfully close... my radiant-style viewport setting kicks ass except when I have to change the grid axis or a new build nukes my settings and I have to do it all again Hammer would rule on 2 monitors if they ever make the texture window stop stealing focus when it's open... boo! Not that I'm mapping anymore, but damn straight. I can't even do single screen anymore with my consulting work. Quote

Furyo Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 Yeah, it's up to a point where my brand new 22' screen at home already feels kinda small for work... Then again, my 20' here at work feels a lot worse Quote
Sa74n Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 ... or a new build nukes my settings and I have to do it all again just had that on saturday Quote
ReNo Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 I've just got a 22" widescreen waiting to be delivered - don't say that Furyo I must admit to being kinda worried on that front though. I was thinking about going for two 19", 4:3 LCDs instead of the one 22" widescreen, but in the end I decided I wanted the convenience of a single, significantly larger, screen. Quote
Defrag Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 I almost bought 2 x Dell 2007FPs about half a year back, but the deal was scuppered in the end. I ended up getting a single Viewsonic 20" instead (I'm skint now so it's just as well I didn't get the 2 Dells) and I must admit I wish I had dual screens. >_< Modelling with the concept on the other monitor must be great. Same deal for level design with ref images open and programming with help files or tutorials / e-books. Quote
ReNo Posted March 5, 2007 Report Posted March 5, 2007 I used to run dual screen - one 19" CRT and one 17" CRT - but these days I couldn't put up with the tiny amount of desk space that left me with. It was a handy thing to have, especially for coding I found, but I've gotten used to being without it again. Quote
