Making your internet faster?

Yeah every one i talk you says this. But its wierd since it suggest that XP hogs like 20% of the bandwithd to crap and 20% of 14Mb/s is rather much.

Windows XP always reserves 20 percent of the available bandwidth for QoS.

It does work. It doesnt exactlly speeds up your internet, but it manages the traffic in a different way, giving priority to more important applications. For example you have an option that sets if you want to give priority to games or file sharing apps (p2p, torrents, etc).

Its really nice actually, but its just a 30 day trial, so you either buy it or steal it

Oh. Well it annoys me that i have a 24/1 line but in practise i only get 14/1 when testing with TPTEST but when i dl from whatever, html, p2p or torrents i get like a couple hundred kB's.
