KoKo5oVaR Posted February 3, 2007 Report Posted February 3, 2007 I wasn't sure where to post this, since mapcore doesn't have any "2D games WIP" But anyway, since 2 weeks i'm currently developping all by myself a 2D platformer/shooter in the path of metroid/cavestory and so many of them .. I already got story ideas, some concepts, and a start of platformer engine under Allegro . That project really motivates me, way more than making a custom map/model can be, cause i touch every aspect of a videogame conception : graphics/sounds and especially code and gamedesign. and i love pixel art. So i'll use this thread to post WIP from time to time, concepts, sprites, gamedesign ideas .. And if any of you guys are interested in helping me on this game somehow, don't hesitate shoot me a pm, i'll put my sexy underwears and i will be GRATEFULL Quote

KoKo5oVaR Posted March 4, 2007 Author Report Posted March 4, 2007 Not really much to see there, but here's a little update of the project : i finally decided that i will make the game in a 3d isometric view in the path of a so called fallout tactics. And then, before actually touching anything related to the gameplay, i'm making my own level design tools. And here's a pic of it , i'm still wondering how i could make the collisions Quote
