mjens Posted January 27, 2007 Report Posted January 27, 2007 i think this is the first time i've seen professional recruitment not requiring 25 years of professional experience. kudos Reminds me of a job posting I saw in 2002: "Must have 10 to 15 years of Internet marketing experience." Or internet provider with header "Since 1899" Quote
KungFuSquirrel Posted June 27, 2007 Report Posted June 27, 2007 BUMP Still LD slots available for any of those interested, including a couple on the project me and Ken are on, and you know you want to work with us. Right? Right. Can apply directly, or prod me or any of the other GBX guys for more info. I highly recommend checking it out, though. Quote
JamesL Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 You gotta be a US resident though right? Quote
KungFuSquirrel Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 There may be options for those with degrees (or equivalent) or professional experience, but I wouldn't plan on it. If any of you outside the US are interested and have one or both of those qualifications, feel free to contact me directly and I can put out some feelers with our lead (who in turn can discuss things with HR) to see if there are any options available. It's still safe to assume US residents only, but I think it'd be doing a disservice to not let us at least take a look anyway. Quote
Skjalg Posted June 28, 2007 Report Posted June 28, 2007 In one year, Im going to have my Bachelor of science degree! I really hope I can get a job in the us then Quote

propaganda Posted September 18, 2007 Report Posted September 18, 2007 Gentlemen, it's not all that complicated to get a US work Visa, especially if you have a degree. I am Canadian and have worked in the US on 3 seperate visas. Anyone with professional status can apply for a "TN" working visa or if the company requires specialized people that they are having difficulty finding in the US you maye qualify for an "L1B" or an "H2B". Go here for a list of options. http://www.usimmigrationsupport.org/ Quote

sam_robinson Posted September 19, 2007 Report Posted September 19, 2007 It's times like these living in england doesn't seem all it's cracked up to be. There are many excellent games companies to work for in the UK, esp the south east. what's more, england is ;part of the EU, so you also have the opportunity to work for loads of games companies throughout europe.
