mikezilla Posted August 7, 2004 Report Posted August 7, 2004 for the following reason EA has listened to the feedback of critics and consumers who have played an early build of Medal of Honor Pacific Assault; their high expectations encouraged us add some extra time to the development schedule in order to add new features and an extra coat of polish to the game. Medal of Honor fans will benefit from some exciting additions. For the first time in the history of the series, players will be able to control their squad in the heat of battle, enjoying greater tactical maneuvering through a new feature called Combat Squad Control. With Combat Squad Control, gamers under siege can bark orders on the fly, using only a single keystroke to order squad-mates to "Advance!", "Fall Back!", "Give Suppression Fire!" or "Assemble!" We believe that adding this new feature and giving the game more time for polish will pay out. It will help us build on the integrity of one of the greatest franchises in gaming. Seriously... wtf. FrieChamp Posted August 7, 2004 Report Posted August 7, 2004 Looks like someone has been "inspired" by BiA. Quote
Bill Posted August 7, 2004 Report Posted August 7, 2004 What's this? EA not selfishly pushing on developers to releases their games early? *cough*black&white*cough* I'm more exited about Brothers in Arms, because that actually looks good, granted PA will be good action packed and well made, but we all know BIA will be better, you only have to look at it. kleinluka Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 gearbox should have patented the one-click feature thing /Me slices EA into pieces and feeds them to the dogs Then again, you shouldn't worry, cause BiA will own the shit out of MoH anyway... But still, thats so totally EA it hurts   Quote
Izuno Posted August 9, 2004 Report Posted August 9, 2004 I don't think EA's control system will be the same as Gearbox's. I don't have confirmation but that's just the vibe I get. Quote
