I was in Rome and Florence the past week here is some photography I did:

Here is an awesome museum in Florence: Museo Zoologico La Specola,

They have all kinds of exotic taxidermied creatures and also these meticulously faithful wax reproductions of scientific dissections... but they are posed as art... so its like dissection as art.... wicked stuff... heres a glimpse:

Here is a crypt in Rome where the monks decorated the walls with the bones of their brothers... there must be over a thousand dead guys on these walls... they like made a chandelier out of one guy
